Veterans' memorial wall dedicated at Fontana American Legion post

American Legion Post 772 in Fontana recently dedicated a veterans' memorial wall at the post.

The wall was part of Brock Michael de Beaubien's Eagle Scout project, which also involved other work at the post.

The veterans' memorial wall features plaques for each of the six military branches plus a U.S. flag and an American Legion plaque.

The project also included cleaning and weeding the grounds at American Legion Post 772, painting walls and rails and replacing patio decking and painting it with anti-skid paint, according to a news release.

The post dedicated the veterans' memorial wall in a June 5 ceremony, with about 60 people attending.

Presiding at the dedication were Kevin Stonestreet, American Legion 25th District commander; James T. Higuera, national vice commander; and Vince Duarte, Post 772 commander.
