The nurse practitioner was nice enough, seemed helpful, but when I failed to follow back up the next month I was discharged. To be clear, I did NOT miss an appointment, but after having done the intake and paid a large amount to become a new patient, I was simply discharged without further notice because I followed up a bit longer than they had requested. As a mental health care giver, you would think they would provide a bit more latitude after all, as patients, we are seeking mental health services due to inherent instability in our lives. I completely understand a service discharging a patient for habitual issues however, that was not the case here as I had only had 1 session. I'm moving on without objection however. Any mental health provider with so little leniency or understanding with it's patients is not worth your time or money.
