Jun. 12—NORWALK — For individuals seeking mental health assistance, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline has been a free, 24/7 hotline that connects people seeking assistance to one of the 200+ mental health crisis centers in America, where people can speak with trained mental health and wellness counselors. The phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is currently 1-800-273-8255, however the Lifeline announced an update to the hotline number.
