A presentation, Unplug to Recharge, will be presented from 6 to 7:30 p.m. by Kelly Linger of Compassionate Care Center and Morgan Zollars, a certified yoga instructor at North Canton Medical Foundation. In our fast-paced world, the demands of being accessible at work and at home can wear us down. Learn some strategies on healthy boundary setting and self-care to help you "unplug to recharge." A six-week course for parents who have a child/adolescent with a mental illness such as bipolar disorder, major depression, ADD, oppositional defiant disorder, autism, behavioral problems and more will benefit from the Basics Education Course, which will held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stark Mental Health and Recovery. Find out resources available for transitioning from the hospital. The talk covers home services, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, rehabilitation units, caregiving options and insurance rules related to these services. ? Canton Christian Women's Connection will host Anna Van Dyke from Kiko Auctioneers & Realty to auction off great items at awesome prices. There will also be baked goods, crafts, fresh produce and a silent auction. Luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. The speaker for the luncheon is Connie Rhodenbeck, "Surprising Gifts of lasting Friendships!" ? The Ohio Small Business Development Center at Kent State University at Stark will present a "Crowdfunding Best Practices" seminar with Bob Cohen, CEO at Braintree Business Development Center. Attendees will discover a way of raising capital that is rapidly gaining popularity as a strategy for entrepreneurs to further their business ideas. ? Kids Night Out at the North Canton YMCA will be from 6:30 to 10 p.m. for children ages 3 (potty trained) through 12. The cost is $14 for members and $20 for non-members. Price includes inflatables, dinner, gym time and all activities. Register in advance online at www.ymcastark.org.

Fieldcrest Estate presents the Wizards' Gathering, a magical experience of professors and prefects, classes like Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts, a mystical street of shops, a House Cup challenge, a grand feast, butter beer, chocolate frogs and a rousing game of Quidditch. Previous attendees may choose the second-year experience, while first year attendees (and wizards) will enjoy the fun of a first time student at the school. The event begins at 4 p.m. and is held at Fieldcrest Estate, 1346 Easthill (55th) Street SE. Costumes are encouraged, British accents are optional. The cost is $75 per participant. A special $25 rate is available to an adult chaperoning a child (10 or under), enjoying the feast but not actively participating in the other student experiences.
