BRIEF: Two Memphis nonprofits team up to provide primary care, mental health services

Nov. 19--Two nonprofit organizations in Memphis are providing both mental health and primary care services at clinics in Frayser and Whitehaven through a new partnership.

Resurrection Health, an evangelical health care provider, and Alliance Healthcare Services, formerly known as Southeast Mental Health Center, have teamed up to co-locate services in existing and future clinics.

Resurrection Health doctors are now seeing patients at Alliance's Frayser location, 2150 Whitney. Alliance is providing services at Resurrection Health'sWhitehaven clinic at 5339 Elvis Presley.

Gene Lawrence, chief executive of Alliance, and Dr. Rick Donlon, chief executive of Resurrection Health, highlighted greater access, convenience and comprehensive care that the partnership provides for patients.
