BRIEF: Glastonbury Chamber's Mental Health Series Begins

GLASTONBURY -- The Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce launches its mental health series tonight.

The "Do a 180, THINK!" program runs over the next few months providing 13 mental wellness educational workshops presented by a variety of experts and an 8-hour certification program -- Mental Health First Aid -- in conjunction with InterCommunity.

Here are this week's seminars:

"Greying of America" presented by attorney Michael Keenan tonight from 5 to 6 p.m. at Keenan Law Offices, 787 Main St. in South Glastonbury. "Mental Health and Substance Abuse" will be presented Wednesday by Pamela Mulready of the Rushford Center. The seminar will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Rushford Center, 10 National Drive.
